In this episode I'm so pleased to sit down with my old Uni friend, Daz Jegon, who talks openly for the first time about his long battle with depression and anxiety at Uni and beyond.
Daz’s grandmother passed away suddenly at university and he had his sights set on moving to Spain to live near her and start a new life. But that came crashing down after her death and his mental health spiralled out of control.
This started a very long, painful but in the end, fulfilling journey of discovering who Daz Clarke is, and what Daz Clarke wants.
This episode details his journey and there are some very interesting takeaways here. I loved doing this one with Daz. He’s also an all-round top bloke and good friend.
👉 the impact Daz’s Nan’s death had on his mental health
👉 his battle with depression and anxiety
👉 his amazing journey of self discovery, understanding how to control and contain his thoughts
👉 how meditation has changed his life
Here’s Daz’s story so please leave all judgement at the door.
