This week on The Rut, I’m really excited to welcome TV Presenter and Pop Culture Expert, Nick Ede to the podcast.
Nick is an amazing man with a really amazing story. Since his teenage years he’s struggled with his mental health. It seemingly started in his teenage years when he started battling his mind over the way he felt he looked. His Mum died in 1997 from a sudden stroke and he never properly dealt with the grief.
However, Nick has had an amazing career in the world of celebrity and television, hosting day time TV shows, being a regular presenter on Sky One and He’s regarded as the Simon Cowell of fashion. He also owns East of Eden PR as well as being regarded as one of the most well connected people in the British celebrity world.
I’m lucky enough to call him a family friend so this episode was a really beautiful one to record.
We recorded this after lockdown!
Here’s Nick’s story so please leave all judgement at the door.
The Rut Podcast is raising money for Movember by building an army of listeners and supporters who will all come together and raise awareness this month. Men's health is something we're front and centre of and we're very proud to be flying the flag for men's mental health, loudly and proudly. However there is still so much to do.
If you can support us, spare £5, or buy us a coffee to support through donating, we'd be so, so grateful.
