In this episode of The Rut we sit down with professional rugby player and coach, Tom Lindsay.
Tom has played for some of the biggest clubs in English rugby: Wasps, Gloucester, Saracens, and is now plying his trade at Bristol Bears. He also represented England Saxons.
Tom talks about what it’s like not feeling good enough within a professional rugby environment and how that has affected his performance on the field, his mental health and his personal life.
Tom has long struggled with binge eating disorders and his relationship with alcohol which, he explains, had a major impact on his life.
Having now been through therapy, Tom is finding out who the real Tom is and following his passion for coaching to develop a career after rugby.
